Access America Prep builds tools and programs to improve the ability of students to find, be accepted to and succeed at the college of their choice. Access America Prep’s tools, programs and partners address the three essential steps to college applications—choosing schools, preparing yourself for the standards of those schools, and applying to schools with college campus tours, a summer intensive program on the Wesleyan University campus offering cognitive, proprietary response-driven SAT test preparation along for international students. We also offer continuing online support throughout the application process through subscription access to our E-platform.

Access America Prep traces its antecedents to 2003 and the executive team of Nick Combemale, Jay Lipman and Donna Zilkha have spent many years in secondary education working directly with high school students. Expanding on the Test Your Best Brand they developed Access America Prep as a wider platform to mitigate the emotional, financial and familial turmoil surrounding the college application process and to help ensure that the last years of high school and first year of college are times of educational satisfaction, triumph and balanced personal growth.

Our college campus tours combine organized trips and expert advice and guidance on the application process with friends and fun. Each one-week tour offers campus visits to several colleges and universities and includes two half-day seminars designed and presented by seasoned college placement counselors on every step of the application process. Along the way there is plenty of time for making friends with other students on the tour, comparing notes on schools, and exploring the locales of the colleges.

Access America Prep’s intensive summer programs are tailored specifically to the needs of students worldwide. SAT and TOEFL iBT test preparation, application essay writing instruction and admissions interview preparation are at the core of our program. We combine this with a program of visits to surrounding cities, museums, ball games, shopping malls, concerts and plays, so comprehensive that it leaves students feeling like they are ‘coming home’ when they start college.

For international students, the intensive summer curriculum includes TOEFL iBT preparation and a cultural program of visits to surrounding cities, museums, ball games, shopping malls, concerts and plays, so comprehensive that it leaves students feeling like they are ‘coming home’ when they start college.

Access America Prep follows through on the final step of the college admissions process with ongoing online test preparation and with access throughout the year to your choice of advisors through our partner program.
